The straightforward way into GardePro 4G

The GardePro X50 is our entry point to the GardePro 4G range. It does the essential job very well: it triggers on movement, records 48 MP photos or 1296p video with sound and sends them to the GardePro app over 4G. It runs on 8× AA batteries, which you can swap in seconds in the field, or on external 12 V power for long-term sites.

The X50 has no live view. If you want live view on demand, look at the X60P Pro Max Live, the X70 Pro or the X80 Pro.

• Unlocked SIM: use a data SIM from any network. With a well-chosen data plan, running costs can be as low as roughly €2.50 a month (depends on your plan). SIM card not included.

• SD card up to 512 GB (not included).

Recording and preview

Choose photos, video or both, with clips from 3 seconds to 5 minutes. Lite Video shows the whole clip at about 2 fps, so you can decide whether the full-resolution file is worth the download. The f/1.6 lens has a 70° field of view and an automatic IR-cut filter for natural colours by day.

Night vision

The 940 nm LEDs are invisible to game and people. The adaptive control adjusts their power to the distance, so animals close to the camera are not washed out and those further away are not lost in the dark. The night range is approx. 30 m.

Power

Fit 8× AA batteries, or connect a compatible solar panel, a 220 V adapter or an external battery to the 5.5 × 2.1 mm DC socket (12 V / 1 A). The IP66 housing works from −20 °C to +60 °C. A working 4G signal at the location is needed for sending.

FAQ

Does the X50 have live view?

No. It is a classic 4G trail camera. Live view on demand is available on the X60P Pro Max Live, X70 and X80 models.

Do I need 4G coverage?

Yes. Photos and videos are sent over 4G, so the location needs enough signal.

Is a SIM card included?

No. The camera is unlocked, so you can use a data SIM from any operator.

Do I pay for the cloud or HD downloads?

No. Cloud storage, video sending and HD requests are free in the GardePro app.

Which batteries does it need?

8× AA, not included. You can also power it from 12 V / 1 A through the DC socket, including a compatible solar panel.

Which SD card can I use?

Any SD card up to 512 GB. No card is included.
