The GardePro X70 3.0 Ultra is the most advanced camera in the GardePro X70 series. It analyses every capture on the camera itself: it recognises animals and people, tags them, and sends over 4G only the species you have selected. No more dozens of photos of foxes and cats while you are waiting for wild boar or deer, and you save data and battery at the same time. It takes 64 MP photos and 4K video with sound, and adds live view and built-in GPS.

AI recognition and Smart Capture

Most 4G cameras send everything that triggers the motion sensor: branches in the wind, birds, the neighbour’s cat. The X70 3.0 Ultra first processes the capture itself (edge AI) and works out whether it shows a supported animal species, a person or something else. In the GardePro Mobile app you then choose which species you are interested in. The camera sends those over 4G, while all other captures stay on the SD card for you to review on your next visit. Fewer unnecessary alerts also means less data used and longer battery life.

Image quality by day and night

Photos are 64 MP and video is recorded in 4K with sound. H.265 compression keeps the quality while making files smaller, which helps both when sending and during long periods in the field. The lens has a 70° field of view. At night, invisible 940 nm IR LEDs light the scene without being noticed by game or people. The illumination adapts to the distance, so animals close to the camera are not overexposed and distant ones are not too dark. The range is approximately 30 m.

Three PIR sensors together cover 120°. The side sensors wake the camera in advance, so the trigger time when an animal enters the frame is just 0.1 s. You can choose photos, video or both, time-lapse, working hours and loop recording.

Live view and GPS

The camera connects automatically to the strongest available 4G network. It sends photos immediately after a trigger or at the times you set. At any time you can open live view in the app, request an HD photo or the full video and change settings without going out to the camera. Live view uses more data and battery, so you start it only when you need it.

The built-in GPS shows in the app where the camera is located. On a large hunting ground you can find each camera quickly, and you will notice if someone moves it.

17500 mAh battery

Instead of a pile of AA batteries, the camera runs on the included 17500 mAh lithium battery. How long it lasts depends on the number of triggers, the sending mode and how often you use live view. Because the AI only sends selected species, the camera uses far less energy for sending than a camera that transmits every capture.

Set-up

The 2.4″ colour screen helps you aim the camera and adjust settings on site. The IP66 housing withstands rain, snow and frost, and the camera operates from −20 °C to +60 °C. Charge the battery at temperatures between 0 °C and +45 °C.

FAQ

When will the camera be available?

This is a pre-order. We expect the camera to arrive in early November, and quantities are limited. You can order now and we will ship as soon as it arrives.

How does the AI recognition work?

The camera analyses every capture itself, without the cloud. It tags captures by the recognised species or person, and with Smart Capture you choose in the app which species it should send over 4G. All captures remain stored on the SD card.

Do I have to pay a subscription for the app?

The GardePro Mobile app is free, and so are the cloud, video sending and HD requests. You pay your mobile operator for the data you use.

Is live view always on?

No. You start live view in the app when you need it. Otherwise the camera triggers on motion and sends photos or video. Live view uses more data and battery.

How long does the battery last?

It depends on the number of triggers, the sending mode and how often you use live view. Sending only selected species with AI, and sending at intervals, saves a lot of energy.

What is the GPS for?

You see the camera’s location in the app. On a large hunting ground you can find it quickly and notice if someone has moved it.
