Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 17 October 2026

1. Seller and scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed in the online shop at scoutguard-eu.com (“Scoutguard EU”, “we”, “us”). The seller and your contract partner is Leo M&T d.o.o., Gladež 28, 1411 Izlake, Slovenia, company registration no. 3909069000, VAT ID SI18331068, email info@scoutguard-eu.com, phone +386 64 120 066. Full company details are in our Legal notice.

A “consumer” is any natural person who buys for purposes that are mainly outside their trade, business or profession. Some provisions below apply only to consumers or only to business customers, as stated.

2. Products and information

Product descriptions, images and technical data are prepared with care and are based on manufacturer information. Manufacturers may change specifications, firmware, apps or packaging without notice. Images may differ slightly from the delivered product. Where an image is marked as illustrative, the actual product may look different. If something on a product page is unclear, please ask us before ordering.

3. Ordering and conclusion of the contract

  1. Products shown in the shop are an invitation to order, not a binding offer.
  2. You can order as a guest or with a customer account. Before you submit the order you can review and correct all entries. By clicking the order button you place a binding order.
  3. After you place the order we send an automatic email confirming that we have received it. This email is not yet an acceptance of your order.
  4. The contract is concluded when we confirm the order by email or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first. We may decline an order, for example if a product is no longer available or if there is an obvious error in price or description. In that case we inform you without delay and refund any payment already made.
  5. The contract language is English. We store the contract text; you can see your order in your customer account (if you have one) and in the order emails we send you.

4. Pre-orders

Some products are offered as pre-orders. The product page shows the expected arrival date. Expected dates are based on information from the manufacturer and may change. If the delivery is delayed significantly, we will inform you and you may choose to wait, switch to another product or cancel the order with a full refund of any payment made.

5. Prices

All prices are in euro (EUR) and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown separately in the cart and at checkout before you place your order. The price valid at the time of your order applies. Where a previous price is shown next to a reduced price, the previous price is the lowest price we applied in the 30 days before the reduction.

6. Payment

The payment methods available for your country are shown at checkout. Depending on your country these may include credit or debit card, PayPal, Klarna, SEPA Direct Debit, iDEAL | Wero, Bancontact, EPS, Przelewy24, Link and bank transfer (prepayment). We do not charge extra fees for any payment method. If you choose bank transfer, we ship once the payment has been credited to our account; the bank details are shown in the order confirmation. Card and online payments are processed by the respective payment provider (for example Stripe or PayPal); we do not receive or store your full card details.

7. Delivery

We deliver to the countries listed on our Shipping & Delivery page. Delivery times and shipping costs are explained there and at checkout. Products in stock are normally dispatched within one working day. If a product is unexpectedly unavailable, we inform you and you may wait, choose another product or cancel with a full refund. Please check your parcel on delivery and report any visible transport damage to us as soon as possible. This helps us claim against the carrier and does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. Full details, including the consequences of withdrawal and the model withdrawal form, are on our Right of Withdrawal page. Business customers do not have a statutory right of withdrawal.

9. Statutory rights for defects (legal guarantee)

If goods are not in conformity with the contract, consumers have the statutory rights under applicable law. Under Slovenian law and EU Directive 2019/771, the seller is liable for lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years of delivery. You can ask us to repair or replace the item, or, where the legal conditions are met, to reduce the price or refund it. Please notify us of a defect as soon as possible after you discover it (under Slovenian law within two months) and describe it so we can examine the product.

10. Manufacturer and seller warranty

In addition to the legal guarantee, we offer a commercial warranty: 2 years on GardePro products, 3 years on Pixfra and Nocpix products and 12 months on all other products. Details and how to make a claim are on our Warranty page. The commercial warranty does not limit your statutory rights.

11. Business customers

If you buy as a business (for example with a company invoice or VAT ID), there is no statutory right of withdrawal and returns are handled under the warranty terms. Intra-EU B2B supplies without VAT require a valid VAT ID that we can verify in the EU VIES system before the invoice is issued.

12. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under mandatory product liability law. In all other cases our liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract, as far as the law allows. We are not liable for the availability or functioning of third-party services that are not part of the purchase contract, such as mobile networks, SIM cards, data plans or the manufacturer’s app and cloud services.

13. Lawful use of cameras

Trail cameras, thermal devices and night-vision devices may only be used in accordance with the law. Rules on recording people, private and public land, hunting, data protection and the use of such devices differ from country to country. You are responsible for checking and complying with the law that applies where you use the device. Information on this website is not legal advice, and we accept no liability for unlawful use of the products.

14. Personal data

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

15. Complaints and dispute resolution

Please send complaints to info@scoutguard-eu.com. We confirm receipt within five working days and aim to resolve every complaint fairly. Information on alternative dispute resolution is in our Legal notice. The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.

16. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Slovenia, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country in which you have your habitual residence. For business customers, the courts in Ljubljana, Slovenia have jurisdiction.

17. Final provisions

If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect. We may update these terms for future orders; the version valid at the time of your order applies to that order.
