Description

The Pixfra Ranger R435 is a handheld thermal monocular from Pixfra’s established Ranger series. It detects the heat of animals, people and objects day and night – also in dense cover or light fog – and shows a crisp image on a 1440 × 1080 OLED display. With its 384×288 sensor and 35 mm lens it detects heat sources at up to 1800 m.

Key advantages

  • 384×288, 12 μm, ≤30 mK – sensitive VOx detector for clear detail in rain, fog and cold
  • 35 mm f/1.0 lens with manual focus – detection up to 1800 m
  • 1440 × 1080 OLED – high contrast and natural colours on a 0.41″ screen
  • 6 colour palettes and hot/cold spot tracking
  • 32 GB memory and Wi-Fi for the Pixfra app
  • ≥6.5 h battery life with manual and automatic standby
  • IP67 – withstands 30 minutes under water, works down to −30 °C

Pixfra Ranger thermal monocular in use

Clear image in difficult conditions

Every Ranger uses a 12 μm detector with a sensitivity of ≤30 mK, so fine temperature differences remain visible even in heavy rain, fog or cold. The 1440 × 1080 OLED display has twice the pixels of a 1024 × 768 screen, which makes contours and fur structure easier to read.

Built for long nights outdoors

The rechargeable 3200 mAh battery lasts at least 6.5 hours, and manual or automatic standby helps it last through a whole evening. The IP67-rated housing survives half an hour under water and works from −30 to +50 °C.

Frequently asked questions

How does Ranger differ from ARC?

Both are handheld monoculars. The newer ARC PRO and ARC LRF lines use more sensitive ≤20 mK sensors and a magnesium housing, and the LRF versions add a laser rangefinder. Ranger is the established series with a clear choice of sensor and focal length.

Is 1800 m the identification distance?

No. 1800 m is the detection range under ideal conditions. Recognising and identifying game needs a shorter distance and depends on weather and background.

Can I connect my phone?

Yes. The Ranger has built-in Wi-Fi for live view and control in the Pixfra app.

Warranty

Pixfra provides a 3-year manufacturer warranty. Please keep your proof of purchase. Details are in the user manual supplied with the device.
