Pixfra MILE-2 thermal monocular size compared with a smartphone

Small enough for a jacket pocket

The MILE-2 series has a slim, smooth housing with the power switch built discreetly into the Pixfra logo on the side, so there are fewer buttons on top and the controls are easy to find by touch in the dark. At <320 g the M625M is comfortable for long sessions and easy to carry; a soft pouch, neck strap and wrist strap are included. The manual focus ring lets you pin-sharpen the image at the distance you are watching, which pays off with longer lenses and when identifying detail.

Pixfra MILE-2 – IP67 rated, operating range −30 to +55 °C

Reliable in rain, fog and cold

The housing is rated IP67 against dust and water and works from −30 to +55 °C, so heavy rain, fog or high humidity will not stop an evening on the high seat.

Pixfra MILE-2 Wi-Fi sharing – up to 4 devices, up to 40 m

Group viewing with the Pixfra app

Connect your phone or tablet over Wi-Fi with the free Pixfra app for Android and iOS. You can stream the live image to up to four devices at once within approx. 40 m – handy for guiding, teaching or simply sharing what you see without passing the monocular around.

Frequently asked questions

What does the “M” at the end of some model names mean?

The M versions have a manual focus ring. Models without the M (M207, M210, M215) have a fixed-focus lens.

Is 1300 m the distance at which I can identify game?

No. Up to 1300 m is the detection range – the distance at which a heat source becomes visible under ideal conditions. Recognising and identifying an animal requires a shorter distance and depends on weather, background and size.

Can I record photos and video?

Yes. Photos and video are saved to the 16 GB built-in memory and can be transferred via USB Type-C or viewed in the Pixfra app.

Which sensor should I choose?

256×192 is the light, affordable entry point; 384×288 shows clearly more detail; 640×512 gives the most detail and the widest field of view for a given lens. Longer lenses reach further, shorter lenses show a wider area.

Warranty

Pixfra provides a 3-year manufacturer warranty. Please keep your proof of purchase. Details are in the user manual supplied with the device.
